The private beta wrapped on April 18. Six months, 217 accounts, 4.8 PB stored at peak, 14 production-grade incidents. The recap is public; the per-account details are not.

What we learned about the product

The customers who stayed past the second month were the ones whose existing storage workflows were already CLI-driven. Customers whose workflows started in a UI churned at twice the rate, even when the underlying use case was identical.

What we learned about the team

The on-call rotation we designed for ten people did not scale to fifteen without re-thinking the handoff. The change is small but worth documenting for the next time we grow the team.
