Launch week starts Wednesday. The engineering side of the prep is straightforward but worth writing down so the team has a single reference.

Capacity headroom

Every region runs at 4x projected peak load through May 5. The projected peak comes from the private-beta signup rate scaled by the most generous launch-bump multiplier we modelled.

Change freeze

A strict change freeze begins Wednesday at 18:00 UTC and lifts on Monday May 4 at 09:00 UTC. Hotfixes require two on-call leads to sign off; planned changes are deferred to the post-freeze window.
