Summer 2026 internship recap

Six interns wrapped their twelve-week summer placements last Friday. All six shipped projects to production; four are joining full time in the fall after graduation. Highlights below.

Projects shipped

A new region-aware quota system, a customer-facing webhook delivery SLA dashboard, an automated remediation pipeline for the top three incident classes, an in-cluster network policy linter, a redesigned billing email template flow, and a small but well-loved CLI feature for piping read output through jq more comfortably.

What surprised us

The interns did not need help writing code; they needed help understanding which code mattered. The buddy system we set up turned into the highest-rated part of the program by far.
